Our coaches hold UEFA badges as well as previous experience training talented youth at both Sunderland AFC and Newcastle United FC.
At NECC, our players are regularly given the chance to test themselves in showcase fixtures against some of the biggest academies in the country, including Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Newcastle United and Leeds United. These matches provide invaluable experiences, exposing our boys to elite-level opposition and helping them understand the standards required to progress in the game.
The Burnside Football Academy, delivered in partnership with Burnside College, combines high-quality education with elite football development. Based in Wallsend, the programme allows players to continue their academic studies while receiving professional coaching, structured strength & conditioning, and the opportunity to compete in regular fixtures.
